The International building Expo will be held from July 22-24 under the theme 'A New Frontier for Building One Guyana'. While the primary focus of this expo is to showcase Guyana's architectural future, thousands of Guyanese can expect to be allocated their house lots and land titles as a housing drive titled 'Dream Realised' will also coincide with the main event.
This was announced by Housing and Water Minister Collin Croal on Friday when he provided an update on the progress of preparations for the expo.
Croal told members of the media that "There is a system with how we are dealing with those pending applicants so those persons will be contacted for their dream realise as well as land titling to make sure we make home ownership complete for our citizens.”
There will also be participants such as banks and real estate agencies present at the event. Persons are urged to make use of the resources available to them so that they can make their dream of owning a home possible.
The building expo which returns after five years will be hosted at the Guyana National Stadium and already 200 businesses have registered to participate, including local and international companies. The expo promises to be 'bigger and better' than any other.
