Taxi driver on bail for unlawfully wounding construction worker
Rawl Browne, a 52-year-old taxi driver, was charged with unlawfully wounding a construction worker and was granted bail.
Browne of Peter’s Hall Public Road, East Bank Demerara (EBD), was hauled before the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrates’ Court and denied the charge when it was read to him.
He is accused of unlawfully wounding Ramnarine Deen, 32, of Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara (WBD), on Saturday last.
The taxi driver was granted $30,000 bail, and the case was adjourned to April 08, 2024, for statements.
