Rotaract Club of Stabroek donates over 100 backpacks in back-to-school drive

The Rotaract Club of Stabroek has hosted a back-to-school drive, which saw over 160 students benefitting from backpacks with stationery supplies.


The drive was held under the theme “Project BIG: Bridge | Inspire | Give,” and students of the Riverstown Primary and the Dredge Creek Nursery and Primary Schools benefitted.


President of the Club, Miracle Singh, related to the students that the Club is committed to hosting projects that impact lives across communities. He noted Project B I.G aims to equip students to be better prepared for the school year ahead.

The Rotaract Club of Stabroek said it is grateful to its partners, who are the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry, Arapaima Logistics, Church’s Chicken Guyana, Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited, Food for the Poor, Metro Office and Computer Supplies, as well as several individuals who made contributions.
