Ramdhani siblings awarded for badminton performances in Canada

Narayan and Priyanna Ramdhani have been recognised for their performances in badminton at the Alberta Colleges’ Athletics Conference.

Narayan and Priyanna Ramdhani are both student-athletes on badminton scholarships at Kings University and Old College in Canada.

Narayan Ramdhani has been granted two awards in recognition of his performance representing the school in the Alberta Colleges’ Athletics Conference (ACAC) Championships.

He was awarded a Men’s Badminton All-Conference Award and ACAC Male Player of the Year, which is the most prestigious award at the ACAC.

Priyanna Ramdhani earned a Women’s Badminton All-Conference Award. These awards are given to players who maintain the top three positions in the Playoffs at the ACAC Tournaments.

This is Narayan’s third time being awarded and Priyanna’s second. Next up for the siblings is the ACAC Provincial Badminton Championship, which will be played this weekend at Olds College.

This tournament serves as a qualifier to represent Alberta Colleges at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Nationals.

The nationals are also scheduled to be played during this month.
