Mocha Labourer on bail for larceny

Charged: Hugo Blake

Hugo Blake, known as ‘Sunny,’ has been charged with larceny and released on $70,000 bail.

Blake, 21, of Barnwell North Mocha, East Bank Demerara, appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman in the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrates’ Court, where the charge was read to him.

He pleaded not guilty and was released on bail. The case was adjourned to March 28, 2024, for statements.

Blake was charged with committing the offence on February 28 against Lenin Massiah, a pensioner from Farm Access Road.
