Lodge man remanded for trafficking ganja
Jamal Jordon, 25, of Lot 78 Princess Street, Lodge, was on Thursday remanded to prison for allegedly trafficking 710 grams of cannabis.
Jordon was hauled before Magistrate Alisha George in the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The charge states that on August 2, 2022, at Princess Street, Lodge, he had 710 grams of cannabis in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He was remanded to prison and will make another court appearance on September 29. Reports are that on the day in question, Jordon was arrested, and a search unearthed the illegal item.
