Guyanese to travel to UK visa-free

Come November 9, 2022, Guyanese with a valid passport can now enter the United Kingdom (UK) visa-free for up to six months. This was announced by the UK High Commissioner to Guyana, Jane Miller.

President Irfaan Ali says this will open up "tremendous opportunities" for Guyana and is expected to fuel efforts in gaining financing for transformative projects as well as make Guyana a hub for regional activity.
