Guyana gets new Bahamas Ambassador
His Excellency Dr Irfaan Ali, today, accepted the Letters of Credence from the Non-Resident High Commissioner of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to Guyana, Her Excellency Leslia Miller-Brice at the Office of the President on Shiv Chanderpaul Drive.
The Head of State was joined by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd and the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Elisabeth Harper.
Guyana and the Bahamas established diplomatic relations in 1973.
