Gupta Distribution, which falls under the Gupta Group, on Saturday launched its ‘Kabisa Vitamin’ drink, which is packed with ingredients said to boost the body’s function.

During the product launch at the Outside Outdoor Lounge, located at MovieTowne, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gupta Distribution, Michael Gupta, said that he aims to ensure the business becomes the most reliable importer and distributor of high-quality products from well-known brands around the world.

The CEO shared that the Gupta Group initially started serving the construction sector, but his thirst to create a difference in Guyana led to the establishment of Gupta Distribution.

“As a result of the desire and drive for difference, we conceptualise and launch a line of beverages in 2022, which is now famously known as Kabisa beverages. We came across this line of beverage emanating from the European market with high quality and have a distinction from any other beverage there is on the market,” the CEO explained.

According to the CEO, the Kabisa line of beverages has all-natural ingredients with no artificial sweeteners. He added that the products comply with the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles and the International Food Standard (IFS).

A single can of the Kabisa Vitamin drink, which is 250 milliliters, contains magnesium, ginseng, B1, 2, B3, B5, B6, and B12, among other ingredients.

The ‘hero ingredient’ in the drink is ginseng, which is popularly touted for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is proven to increase brain function, boost the immune system and reduce the risk of certain cancers.

Meanwhile, the company recently opened a branch in Suriname, intending to offer Surinamese the same “high-quality beverages” that Guyanese are benefitting from.
