Minister of Education Priya Manickchand has announced that the distribution of the 'Because We Care' cash grant will begin at the end of July.
The Minister made this announcement at the Department of Education Georgetown Regional Award Ceremony for the year 2020 - 2021.
The cash grant is valued at $30,000, and students attached to private and public schools will benefit from this initiative. Over the next few years, this grant is expected to increase to $50,000.
