16-year-old stabbed to death during argument

Benjamin Seaford, a 16-year-old of Lot 12 Public Road, Kitty, was fatally stabbed during an argument with another man at Lamaha and Gordon Streets on Monday.
The alleged perpetrator, a 22-year-old unemployed man from Kitty Public Road, reportedly attacked Seaford with a knife.
According to a police report, Seaford and the suspect were acquainted with each other.
The altercation occurred around 00:45 h at the corner of Lamaha and Gordon Streets. During the argument, the suspect allegedly drew a knife from his waist and stabbed Seaford multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Seaford attempted to escape by running westward on Gordon Street but collapsed approximately 100 feet from the intersection of Gordon and Lamaha Street.
Authorities were alerted, and both police and Emergency Medical Technicians responded promptly. Despite their efforts, Seaford was pronounced dead upon examination by a doctor at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The Crime Scene Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department headquarters processed the scene, and the body was subsequently transferred to the Memorial Gardens funeral home, pending a post-mortem examination.
