Vendor, 28, found dead on bridge at Friendship

A body of a 28-year-old man vendor was discovered this morning on a bridge at Brush Dam Road, Friendship, East Coast Demerara (ECD).

The man has been identified as Oneil Issacs of Friendship, ECD. A resident discovered his motionless body at about 02:05h, the Guyana Police Force’s (GPF) Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) noted.

Emergency Medical Technicians were dispatched to the location, and the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

“No marks of violence were seen on the exposed parts of the body, and it is currently at the Jerrick’s Funeral Parlour awaiting a post-mortem examination,” the CCU concluded.
