Two men nabbed with marijuana at Baramita
Two men, aged 24 and 32, were arrested on Tuesday after they were found with 387.7 grams of suspected marijuana at Barama Line, Baramita, North West District (NWD), Region One.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) reported that at about 15:00h, ranks acting on information received went to the location and found the duo.
A search was carried out on the duo’s personal belongings, and four transparent plastic parcels containing seeds, leaves, and stems suspected of being cannabis were unearthed.
They were both arrested and placed into custody at the Baramita Police Station pending further investigations.
