Three arrested after man found dead under house

The Police in Berbice have arrested three persons at the Springlands Police Station as investigators probe the circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly resident whose lifeless body was found under a house on Thursday.

While the identity of the deceased is not yet known, a police source confirmed that the suspects are cooperating with law enforcement.

MTVNews Update understands that at about 8:45 hrs, ranks from the Springlands Police Station received an anonymous call informing them that a man was lying under a house with what appeared to be injuries about the body.

Upon arrival at the scene, the elderly was discovered lying face-up with blood oozing from his mouth and parts of his head.

Investigations are ongoing.
