Man gets 16 years jail for stabbing teen in 2016

Ryan Albert called “Murray” was today sentenced to 16 years behind bars for fatally stabbing 19-year-old Dalton Emanuel and wounding Mark Edwards in a brawl back in 2016 at Yarakita, Northwest District (NWD).
Upon his arraignment at the High Court, Albert, who was initially indicted for murder opted to plead guilty to the lesser count of manslaughter, and assault.
He admitted that on March 29, 2016, he unlawfully killed Emanuel and assaulted Edwards, to cause them actual bodily harm.
According to reports, on the day in question, at around 22:00 hrs, Albert was involved in an argument with Emanuel at Yarakita.
During the argument, it was reported that Albert not only stabbed Emanuel in the abdomen with a pair of scissors but also turned the weapon on Edwards.
