Lucozade Indoor Junior Hockey Tournament set for Tuesday
The Guyana Hockey Board’s Indoor Calendar kick starts today from 6pm at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall with the Lucozade Indoor Hockey Tournament.
This tournament will help prepare local clubs for the National and International Indoor Tournaments scheduled for the last quarter of this year.
An under-20 male and female category will be introduced for the first time this year to showcase a blend of senior and junior talent.
The tournament runs daily from August 30 to September 4 with matches beginning at 5pm on weekdays and 10am on the weekend.
The tournament will feature seven teams in each under-20 category while the general tournament features five women's and seven male teams battling for the Lucozade Champion Crown.
Participating clubs are GCC, Saints, Hikers and Old Fort.
