Lindener's vehicle destroyed by fire
A 212 Toyota motor car owned by a 39-year-old man of Wismar, Linden, went up in flames on Thursday night.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) said that the incident occurred between 19:00 – 21:15 hrs.
According to the owner, at about 21:15 hrs, he and his wife were awoken by a loud explosion, and upon investigating, he saw the car, which was parked in his yard, completely engulfed in flames.
The man, assisted by his wife, managed to put the fire out. Investigations are ongoing.
