Liming at culvert: Group of men leaves gun behind while eluding Police at Golden Grove
A group of men who were liming at a culvert at Section ‘C’ Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara (ECD), managed to evade arrest but left behind a gun.
According to the Guyana Police Force (GPF), at about 21:00h on Saturday, Police were on mobile patrol in Golden Grove when the men spotted the law enforcement officials.
As a result, they ran in different directions, during which one of the men dropped a bulky plastic bag.
The ranks checked the bag and discovered that it contained one .38 revolver without any rounds in the chamber. The firearm will be processed for latent fingerprints.
