‘Gully’ nabbed with over 13 grams of ganja
A 30-year-old miner has landed himself in hot water after he was caught with 13.8 grams of marijuana in his possession.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) said that ranks conducted a cordon and search exercise on Thursday night at the Mahdia Arcade, where they stopped Julian Hodge, called 'Gully.'
Hodge, who hails from Seven Miles, Mahdia, Potaro, was searched and ranks found the marijuana in his one-strap Polo bag, which was hooked around his waist.
He was cautioned, arrested, and escorted to the Mahdia Police Station, where he was placed into custody. The miner is expected to be charged shortly.
