Doctor stumbles on skeletal remains at Sister’s Village
A doctor on Sunday stumbled on skeletal remains at Sea Dam, Sister’s Village, West Bank Demerara (WBD), while trying to catch crabs.
According to the Guyana Police Force’s (GPF) Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), the discovery was made at about 19:30h by Dr Yeulus Allicock.
A Police report was made to the Wales Police Station, and an investigation was launched. On Monday at about 09:00h, the scene was visited by a team of Policemen.
A search was carried out, and several skeletal remains were found. It was later taken to the Criminal Investigations Department. A forensic examination is scheduled for tomorrow.
