CANU finds sub-machine gun, AK-47 magazine & ganja during operation
The Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) conducted an intelligence-led operation on Monday, which led to the seizure of one 9mm sub-machine gun with 20 matching rounds, an AK-47 magazine with 20 7.62x39 rounds, and a quantity of marijuana.
While the law enforcement agency did not disclose where the operation was conducted, it noted that the marijuana amounted to 2.494 kilograms. The items seized were taken to CANU's headquarters as the investigation continues.
