CANU finds gun, ammo at Sisters Village
Ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) on Wednesday discovered a .45-caliber pistol with magazine and ammunition during a raid at Sisters Village, West Bank Demerara (WBD).
In a statement, the Unit said that Officers acting on information received conducted an operation at Sisters Village, WBD.
A subsequent search of the sideline dam led to the discovery of one .45 caliber pistol with magazine and ammunition. According to CANU, no one was seen in the vicinity during the search.
“CANU continues to prioritise the removal of illegal drugs and firearms from our communities,” the missive concluded.
