Businessman fatally shot during suspected robbery on Boxing night
Police are probing the alleged murder of Shimron Adams on Monday night at his business located at Durban and Chapel Streets, Georgetown.
Reports are that Adams was fatally shot at about 22: 35h, as he was about to close his establishment.
MTV News Update understands that Adams was about to close his businessmen when two bandits, brandishing a handgun, attacked him.
After the incident, the businessman was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigators are reviewing the CCTV cameras in the area as the investigations continue.
