BREAKING: Husband, wife electrocuted by illegal wires at Success Squatting Area

A husband and wife are now dead after they were electrocuted by illegal wires at Success Squatting Area, East Coast Demerara (ECD), between 21:00h and midnight.
Dead is 32-year-old Selochanie Hansraj and 39-year-old Prahalad Jagnarine of Success Squatting Area, ECD.
It is alleged that persons from the Squatting Area usually tap into electricity from an illegal connection.
Reports are that Hansraj and her husband were heading into their home when tragedy struck.
He came into contact with the fires first, and in a bid to save him, she held onto him and was electrocuted. The couple leaves to mourn a daughter and family members.
