$100,000 bail for man charged with larceny from the person

A man was today granted bail for $100,000 by Senior Magistrate Leron Daly on a charge of Larceny from the Person.
Colin Denny, also known as “Malice,” appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and pleaded not guilty.
The charge stated that on March 18, 2022, at James Street Albouystown, he stole one gold band valued at $275,000, property of Vickash Sukhnandan.
After listening to the facts of the matter, the Magistrate released Denny on a $100,000 bail with the condition that he report every Monday to the Ruimveldt Police Station until the hearing and determination of the case.
He is scheduled to make another court appearance on May 13, 2022.
