Man hospitalised following bee attack in Berbice
A 47-year-old man is now a patient at the Skeldon Hospital after being stung by Africanized bees.
The injured man has been identified as Harry Narine Ramdass, called ‘Eno’ of Region Six.
Reports are that at about 14:30, Ramdass ventured to the back of his yard to urinate when he was attacked by a swarm of bees.
Following the attack, the 47-year-old man was rushed to the hospital, where he was admitted as a patient. The injured man believes the bees live in a sawmill next to his house.
